Captain Lee Blick reports good trout fishing on jigs in Upper Tampa Bay. Capt. Blick likes the lower tides, as the trout concentrate in the deeper areas. Tailing redfish have also been good for fly fishing waders.
The Fourth Street flats and holes have been producing big trout. Anglers working this area in the early morning and late afternoon have been scoring well using 5-inch white cream-colored jigs and jumbo shrimp.
